Long Run at FATS

Yesterday was a tough day on the trails. Went out to FATS (http://www.sorbacsra.org/) to get a long run in on the trails and it turned out to be very demanding with the high humidity and 97 deg. In the woods, there was no breeze and the air was stifling hot and stagnant. The trails were in great shape as I checked-out the new two loops added recently (Big Rock & Tower) and what a run. Afterwards, I ran Skinny and must say the trails are in the best shape. I just wish it was a little cooler. I injured my hamstring last week but it’s starting to come back around. Need to take it easy so I don’t re-injure it and adding more delays to an already challenging schedule. Pinhoti 100M is just around the corner and still need to get in some long runs and feel good about it.

Thanks for visiting my blog and the nice comments. You run in a beautiful area. Vermont 100M was so much more than I expected as far a scenary. It ended up being one of my favorite races last year. That humidity is tough though. :) Thanks for pounding miles for such a great cause.
